Protective coatings
Protective paint is essentially designed to provide effective anticorrosive protection. It is generally a system made up of a number of layers of different paints - water resistant, sea water resistant, acid resistant, and weather resistant paints. Based on technical expertise and experience accumulated through its long history, CMP offers a series of comprehensive protective paint systems which can be utilized in diverse industrial areas including industrial plants, and steel structures such as bridges.
CMP is also pursuing the expanded use of protective paints for different end-uses, where it continues to develop and supply high quality products including glass flake containing paints for longer term anticorrosive performance, solvent-free and water- soluble paints to enhance environmental performance, paints which can be applied and cure underwater, paints for electro-magnetic wave absorbance and antifouling / foul-release paints for power plant facilities, such as seawater intakes.
Heavy-duty coatings
To protect various assets, we have been providing heavy-duty coatings for many industrial and offshore projects require high durability anticorrosive performance including chemical resistance, heat resistance and ultra-weather resistance. Besides we have special products such as underwater applicable coatings, plastic coatings and radio-wave absorption coatings that adjusted to meet each requirement.
R&D focusing on the global market
We have been improving our products and coating systems as well as transportation to give the best solution for the global market. We have accumulated our many experiences throughout all major countries such as Japan, China, Southeast Asia and European region. It enables us to develop our technology for various fields such as industrial plants, steel structures and buildings, etc.
Norsok and ISO12944 standards
These are coating standards. Norsok standard is used in offshore facilities related in North sea projects and ISO12944 standard is used in worldwide industrial projects. Approved coating systems can be specified after approved test requirements for each classification by a third party.
